Polly Kamau is a native of Kiambu County, Kenya, and has recently moved back to her homeland in Kenya to settle permanently. With a Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, she also holds an MBA from the Northwest Nazarene University, Idaho, and a Bachelor’s in Commerce from the Africa Nazarene University.

Polly has worked as a marketer and a policy analyst and is one of the founders of the Affiliation of Kenyan students. With an extensive volunteer experience both in Kenya and the USA, she held various leadership positions as a student and in the Birmingham community. A Member of the Golden Key Honor Society, Polly is now serving in Fountain of Hope advisory board and heads sanitary towels sub-committee in the board. A stargazer at nights, married and a mother of three, she enjoys mountain hiking, reading, writing, and mentoring young people while deriving inspiration from her Christian faith & values.
